We are a very friendly group of like-minded people who enjoy easy walking in the local countryside and meet every other Friday morning throughout the year.

A full list of planned walks and meeting places is always available.  We encourage car sharing and meet locally to travel to walks, generally within a 30-minute drive.

We take our pace from the slowest walker.  Our walks are usually 8 to 10km (5 to 6½ miles).  We enjoy walking and occasionally like to have time to stop and take in the scenery.

New members are always welcome and may eventually, with help, lead their own walks if confident to do so.  Strong walking shoes or boots are essential.

Friday 1 group usually does a circular walk, starting and finishing at a pub where there is the opportunity to stop for food, refreshments and more socialising.

Fortnightly on Fridays, starting at 9:20.

The two Friday Walking groups meet on alternate weeks.
