We are a welcoming and caring group of mixed ability strummers who play for fun and to extend our capabilities if we feel like it.  We use song sheets to sing and play a wide variety of musical numbers.  At our last session the songs included “Nine to Five”, “Lady Madonna”, “The Train They Call the City of New Orleans”, “Come Up and See Me Make Me Smile”, and “And Then I Kissed her”.

We like the challenge of trying new things – plucking instead of strumming, barre chords up the fret-board, etc.  We don’t all always succeed and revert to simpler alternatives (nobody minds, as we don’t take ourselves too seriously) - but what a sense of achievement when we do.
