Pilates is a form of exercise characterised by precise movements to strengthen core muscles and improve flexibility, enhancing our well-being as we age.
Our friendly and experienced teacher Heather takes us through a series of movements suitably adapted to all levels of proficiency to build strength and flexibility week by week. We are a chatty and friendly group.
A Pilates mat and cushion and flexible clothing are the only initial equipment needed. Hand weights and bands can be added as one progresses.
Newcomers are welcome, subject to available spaces.
