Farnborough & District

The Music Appreciation Group is for members who enjoy listening to mainly (but not exclusively) classical music.  Some sessions are given over to the Leader or other members to give a presentation on a music subject, e.g the works of a particular composer, a period of music, music from a particular country or a particular musical form.

At least two sessions each term are given over to Members’ Choice, one of which is a completely free choice and the other a choice relating to a particular theme.  At each session there is time for comment, discussion and questions.  No prior knowledge of music is needed.
