Deutsch macht Spaß!
Our German group learns through a mix of conversation, reading and the formal study of German grammar. We have a strong interest in German culture, history and current affairs. We believe that learning German should be both entertaining and informative.
We meet weekly. We are fortunate to be led by an experienced German tutor.
We are currently reading “Emil und die Detektive”. We have read the five Baumgartner and Momsen books. Our grammar book is Schaum’s German Grammar.
Although we are not a beginners’ group, we would like to welcome those whose knowledge of German may be either rusty or incomplete, or those who may not have studied German since their schooldays. Do come and join us.
Our group meets weekly, so our members pay an additional contribution towards venue costs.
