Making lace with a pillow and bobbins.

We are a small group with mixed experience of making lace, from a  beginner to a member who has learnt to design and draft patterns to work herself.

Our leader Ann Day taught lacemaking for about 30 years and is happy to help anyone who wants to learn both English traditional laces and contemporary styles.

We try to make things that we can use.  Examples include a selection of Christmas tree decorations, bracelets and bags.

As we are a small group, we meet at Ann’s house not far from Frimley Park hospital.
