Why not join our friendly group of walkers who meet fortnightly on Wednesday mornings to enjoy countryside walks in the local area?  Circular walk routes of 4 to 5 miles start locally or up to 20 miles from Farnborough (30 min. drive).  We pause at the mid-point to enjoy our own drinks & snacks.  For those wishing to eat lunch after the walk the walk leader often arranges a nearby pub / café.

Strong walking boots and a walking pole are advised, together with suitable weather-proof clothing during inclement weather.   Walks continue fortnightly throughout the year, and we often enjoy picnics during the summer period.

We meet at Guildford Road East in Farnborough (outside St Mark’s Hall) to encourage car sharing for a 09:30 departure, although for some walkers it may be more convenient to drive directly to the walk start point.  The walk leader of the day provides details of the walk for distribution by the group leader a few days beforehand.  Members are encouraged to take turns in leading walks.

The two Ambling groups meet on alternate weeks.
