Farnborough & District

We are a friendly group, made up of like minded individuals, with a range of ages and different backgrounds. We walk between 4 and 5 miles on alternate Wednesdays, usually followed by a pub lunch. Therefore the end time will vary.

We often do longer walks on 'awaydays' during the school summer holidays and we usually go away for a long weekend together on an annual walking break.

We have a Christmas lunch and sometimes do other things socially too.

We have our own WhatsApp group to share pictures of our walks and things that may be of interest to the rest of our own group.

We often also post pictures of our walks (scenic only) and a summary of the day's events on the u3a Farnborough Facebook page.

The two Ambling groups meet on alternate weeks.
