Line dancing is an opportunity to enjoy dancing without the need for a partner. We are a friendly and non-judgmental group - there are no mistakes, just personal variations!

Not only does line dancing offer physical exercise, it also helps with concentration and co-ordination.  Our professional tutor gives adaptations for those with balance or joint problems.

We dance to a wide range of rhythms and music - alongside country music, you’ll recognise Jive, Cha- Cha, Waltz, Charleston and more. There’s no dress code so no cowboy hats or boots; just ensure your shoes allow you to turn easily but not slip.

As we have a professional tutor, there is an additional fee which is set at the beginning of each term.

If you're uncertain as to whether line dancing is for you, do come along for a taster session or just to watch

If you are a complete beginner, you are welcome to try the class but be aware that everyone has some experience and the teaching style reflects this. Some steps may be familiar if you’ve done other dance styles or exercise classes and links to on-line tutorials can be provided.
